How to become a library user (adults)
To become a library user, you can either go to one of our libraries in the staffed hours, or you can use MitID to register yourself as a user online anytime.
During staffed hours
If you want to have our staff help you register as a library user, it is important that you bring identification with your CPR-number on it. The most common identification used is the yellow health card - however a danish drivers license or a passport are also valid identifications, as long as they have your CPR-number on them.
See our staffed hours (betjening) below:
Nakskov Library.
Maribo Library.
Rødbyhavn Library.
Please note that you as a library user have access to the libraries all week days from 7 am to 22 pm. You simply need to scan your yellow health card at the entrance (or type in your CPR-number manually) and type in your chosen 4 digit pin code.
Online using MitID
If you have MitID, you can become a library user right here from your browser. Just follow the link below.
How to become a library user (children under 18)
If you are under 18 years of age, you need a filled out consent form from a parent or legal guardian to become a library user. The consent form can either be retrieved in the library during our staffed hours, or you can download it and print it yourself.
It is also possible to give consent online with MitID.
The registration of a person younger than 18 must take place during the library's staffed hours. Please note that you must bring the yellow health card of the child - even if consent is given online beforehand.
If you have any questions, you are always welcome to call us during week days between 10 am and 17 pm on +45 54677500.
